Working Dog Pendants

Quite a while ago, I was asked to make husky pendants similiar to the wolf, bear or fox/cat pendants that I make.  I contacted this customer (Bonnie) yesterday because I have a student who needed to interview someone for a school assignment.  This student does not have the resources outside of school to set up interviews, phonecalls, etc.  The student's article was on sled dogs and I remembered that Bonnie was very involved in this area so I shot her a convo on etsy.  Not only did Bonnie have her husband Dave write an extensive answer to the questions, but she also surprised me with the necklace that was made from the pendants.  Here they are!  Totally cool!!!  Thanks Bonnie!! Check out her public photo gallery for some fantastic pics of the dogs!

Thanks! I love this necklace too. I think the large beads are the key to not making this size pendant look awkward.

The idea for the animal pendants evolved when Kristy from beadykeekjewelry at etsy asked if I could make a round circle with ears and glaze it to represent her cat.... I ended up giving the circle a little more life and Voila! The animal pendant was born :O)
