A Wood Stokin' Hubby

Getting ready for a day full of meetings (how exciting is that?)  Just going to post a couple of my husband Bill's pieces from the last woodfiring.  I, personally, LOVE the turquoise glaze.  We put beads into the last firing using turquoise and will be doing that in the upcoming one as well.  The first time was an experiment since it's hard to say where the wood ash will fly!  If it flies on the bead wire right by the hole....IT"S a LOSS!  This time they'll go in a more inconspicuous spot in the kiln....Hey...maybe some new colors too!  Want to see more of his incredible work?  I've made it easy....Just click his name for his shop and/or click "kiln" to learn more about the process and see more of his pieces....KUDOS to his wife for putting that website together ;o)
