Pulling out the old tricks.....

For the longest time, I was creating beads with multiple glazes.  I'm not quite sure why I got away from that other than the fact that it is very time consuming to glaze each and every little bead in that way.  As a matter of fact, sometimes my fingers take on the look of the old witch in Hanzel and Gretal while I'm holding those tiny toothpicks that I have them on.

I got a little incentive to do this again when a customer and fabulous jewelry designer, Jean Wells, asked if I would make some beads that had a little "pop" to them so that they would stand out on a bracelet.  So....  I did....

As you can see, some are one color.  That allows me to keep some of the prices down.  I think this offers a good variety of choices.

Thanks for reading :o)

Ummm, please excuse me while I wipe up the drool. These are lovely! I can't imagine the work that goes into making, firing, and glazing them.
