WOODFIRED...Nothing Quite Like It...

Just a few quick pics before I head out to the store to get coffee.  I can't even believe that I am sitting here writing this before the morning caffeine fix.  And how the heck does someone who fuels with coffee everyday run out?  ....

Here goes:  Bill had an awesome firing.  Below are some of the the pictures of the inside of the kiln.  You can see my very cool beads sitting amongst some gorgeous pottery.  Bill has a bunch of fans from a website called TeaChat.  The little mini teapot was made with those folks in mind.  He still needst to add his handmade grapevine handle to this.  I can't wait to see it all done!!  It's awesome without the handle, but I think it might make the pouring of those specialized teas go a little smoother :O)

Oh....and the beads!  FABULOUS!  I used a temeku glaze and I think that every effect that could have happened....DID!  They are beautiful.  I'll be listing small groups when I get back from the store....Definitely an earthy gorgeous bead.  I'll be keepin' a few of these guys for myself ;o)

Wonderful to see the kiln filled. I think I'd be jumping up and down at the opening of a load and seeing such lovelies. Lovely tea pot, and those beads amazing!.

As far as the coffee goes, I've had those mornings where I ran out, they are brutal! I am always stocking up.

I'd say thank-you, but I can't take credit other than glazing the beads. I'll pass it on to Bill.

I love that shot of the kiln. Must be like Christmas Day when you open it after it has all been fired! Love your beads, great feel to them.
